This is a fundraiser our school is doing. The advertisement was sent home while back but I was asked to send a reminder.
We spent some time colouring the flags of Ukraine (Saskatoon), Nunavut (Iqaluit) and of the Acadians (Meteghan). We discussed, again, about where in Canada they are located. We talked about important descriptors of each location. Saskatoon is flat and has many farmers. Iqaluit is up north, is cold and has small trees. Meteghan is by  the ocean. There are cliffs and there are lots of fishermen.

In the afternoon, we did art. We worked with pastels. Sorry if clothes are messy.

Reminder that next week, on Tuesday, we are carving our pumpkins. More the merrier. If there is a volunteer to take the seeds and roast them for our Halloween party on Wednesday, please let me know. The kids put on costumes at lunch on Wednesday. There is a parade in the gym at 1PM and then our party. We will try and hold off from lunch until the party in the afternoon.

I will make hotdogs for the kids. If you could sign up to do one of the following that would be swell:
