Hello all! We had a nice day for Carnaval. Humidity chilled us to the bones for the start of the day when we played curling but we survived.

Haven't blogged in a while. No excuse is a good excuse. Iqaluit Day was a blast and the weather was super. The kids rotated through inuit mask makin, drum making, igloo making and pancake eating. After recess it was: inuit games, soap carving, inuit website activities and throat singing. In the afternoon we went outside and rotated through a hunting/snowball centre, tobogganing, tug of war and inuksuk building. A great day!

I have told the kids that I am all done speaking in English in class. It is time to get down to business and pull up our socks. For homework, I would like the kids to write 3 sentences about the polar bear! We read and talked about this animal this morning. They must write in French but may speak to you in English to help remember the things we talked about.
