I apologize for my deficiencies in the blogging dept. I have actually been paying closer attention to doing my supervision at the end of the day.

We have been working on measurement. Distances, sizes, weights, order, etc. in math. Here the kids, with little assistance, ranked themselves from smallest to tallest.

 Last week we measured different objects using non-standard units:

 Evan is measuring using a pencil! Xavier didn't agree with his measurement!

 Riley is measuring the carpet with a pencil.

 Ella is using a lego block to measure the length of the whiteboard.

 Rachel is measuring Karma's height with a lego piece.

 Sami is measuring the whiteboard with a dice.

Tomorrow we will use the scale to weigh ourselves and then rank. 

In science, we are learning about heat and temperature. Have you child try to explain what we did/ what is happening in the pictures if you want to know how they are doing.
