Hello all. Your child has been working on a booklet entitled: "Je peux..." I think they were fairly well done. It will be put up on the bulletin board before I send it home. Maybe when you're in the school have a look and ask your child about it?
In math, we are going to shift from long addition to subtraction and problem solving. Most of the kids have mastered the long addition but there are a few who still have much difficulty with it. Practice never hurt anyone! You could double check at home with a question of your own!?
We are going to finish up a project on Arctic Animals soon and then focus on Meteghan, as this is our next social studies theme day.
I had the kids write in the agend: Opposite poles of a magnet __________, and same poles on a magnet _________. Talk with them about this. Try and let them tell you I mean. They should complete the sentence for homework.
Tomorrow I will give a dictée on sentir, partir, venir, sortir, tenir, ouvrir. We have worked these words throughout the week.
If you could also have your child show you how he/she does: 47
